Credit card debt relief

I can't count the number of credit card pitches and adds I get in the mail on a weekly basis. For God's sake, think of the trees! They try so hard to reel us in. At this point I think there should be a limit to how many they can send out per year. Maybe once a month is plenty. I know it is for me, because I simply shred them or use them to start fires. At this point in my life, I know the game rather well. If anything I'm searching for credit card debt relief; not more credit cards. Who's with me on this one? I can only imagine the millions of Americans that are all too familiar with the credit card burden. Death to credit cards!

It may sound funny or bizarre, but I can recall the exact time in my life when I let credit card trouble into my life. It was of course when I was a callow college student. At the young age of 21, I simply assumed like many do that I could easily pay it back in the future, once I had a great career. Yep, there was no credit card debt relief needed for this fellow. Yeah right! And just like most young people, I got carried away. Sure, I can but these nice things for myself now, because it will be a synch to pay it back down the road. I can head out on the town and use my credit card, because now is what's important.

Wow, was I ever glib! These days I'm not so easily duped. Any credit card spiels I receive, I trash without even looking at them. Last year I took it upon myself to finally seek out credit card debt relief. I did this by consolidating my student loans and credit card debt. It was a whopper, but now I have much less to grapple with monthly. I can't help but be stoked about my new low interest rate. This is where the credit card companies always get you. They jack those interest rates so high that you never actually make any progress by paying the minimum balance due.

Don't feel bad if you're struggling with credit cards. This has pretty much been deemed the American way. The trick now is to find valid credit card debt relief. You can do this without even leaving your home. Try the Internet. This is where I sought guidance for credit card debt relief, and it's where I applied for my consolidation loan. Another route is to consult a financial advisor. He/she will be able to get you on the right track back to financial stability.
